What Are You Feeding Your Brain? 🧠

𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐬!! 𝐀𝐦 𝐈 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭?? ⁣ ⁣😫

Before I could afford to travel all over the world to beautiful places, I read about them. ⁣⁣ I stayed up late flipping pages of tons of books diving into different stories and cultures, people and food. ⁣ ⁣

I imagined myself walking along these people, visiting their most treasured monuments and taking memorable photos with different animals to one day show my grand-babies.⁣ ⁣

I visualized the clear sandy beaches and cute monkeys of Thailand, the croquetas, paella and Spanish dancers in Barcelona, the wine in Tuscany, the pasta and beaches of Southern Italy, and the coconuts in Tulum and imagined what sunsets in Santorini felt like… and one day I lived them all. ⁣ ⁣ ☀️

I’m still in shock on how a girl who was once struggling paycheck to paycheck... actually did!!

⁣My first solo trip ever was to Spain, Italy and France.

I was working front desk at a small biotech company at the time and had no idea how I could afford a trip but I knew I believed in myself. I knew my power in commitment. ⁣ ⁣

I’ve always been a stubborn girl and I knew if I wanted something bad enough, nothing in the world would stop me, including my lack of money. ⁣ ⁣ I decided on my “flight booking date” (even before I had more than $600 in my name). And when that time came I had saved over $8,000. ⁣ ⁣

The mind and your decision making powers are truly f’ng incredible when you DECIDE AND TAKE DAILY CONSISTENT ACTION towards your goals. ⁣ ⁣

My point of this story is to give you hope and a kick in the booty to pick up that travel book, to learn more about that subject that keeps calling your attention, to enroll in that program or set a deadline for yourself and STICK TO IT. ⁣ ⁣

I’m so damn glad I did and I know you can too. ⁣ ⁣
